I remember being interested in dentistry as early as 7 years of age. I graduated as a dentist in 1993 and as a doctor in 2000 from University of Turku. I defended my doctoral thesis in 2001 at the University of Turku. I did my specialisation studies in Helsinki and graduated as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in 2007. I have worked at HUS’s Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery clinic since 2001. In 2017, I was awarded the title of docent at the University the Turku for oral and maxillofacial surgery.
I perform demanding implant surgeries, reconstructions of the jaw bone, demanding extractions of unerupted teeth and treatments for changes in the mucous membrane. I also treat problems with temporomandibular joints and occlusion. I am glad to treat all patients, young and old and will prescribe premedication when necessary.
