Tartar removal

We all are familiar with the formation of tartar. Over time, more or less tartar builds up, especially on the inner surfaces of the teeth and other spots that are difficult to clean.

Tartar is readily formed without any symptoms whatsoever, even though usually the first symptoms are sensitivity of the gums and minor bleeding around the teeth, for example when eating.

Tartar irritates the gum tissue and over time destroys the connective tissue of the teeth. Therefore, removing tartar and cleaning the surfaces of teeth regularly is an important preventive procedure.
