Pediatric dental examination

A pediatric dental examination is a basic dental examination, where a dentist performs a comprehensive oral and dental health examination.

During a pediatric dental examination, a dentist examines all areas of pediatric oral and dental health. The examination is performed to detect any problems or even diseases at a sufficiently early stage, which makes treatment easier, faster and cheaper.

The service process

During the first visit, a dentist examines the mouth and teeth and reviews the possible need for treatment together with the patient. The visit also involves making an individual treatment plan and cost estimate. The dentist will examine your teeth, gums and oral mucous membrane and take x-ray images, if necessary.

When should I make an appointment for this service?

One year after your previous examination or at intervals recommended by your dentist.

What should I take into account when making the appointment?

If it has been a while since your last check-up, good check-up practice requires an x-ray of your whole jaw to be taken. The x-ray makes it possible to detect any problems that cannot be seen by visual inspection. X-ray images are subject to a separate fee.
