Valtteri Lehtinen

General dentist

My specialties include basic dental care, acute care, demanding tooth extractions and minor surgical procedures, treatment of patients with dental fear, problems with masticatory muscles and the temporomandibular joint, removable prosthodontics, dental crowns and ceramic fillings.

I graduated as a dentist from the University of Helsinki in 2020. I have worked in health care centres and at various on-call clinics. My experience in acute care has taught me to work calmly with patients who are nervous or have dental fear, and I always try to treat my patients as painlessly and kindly as possible.

I also work for the City of Helsinki as a dentist specialised in dental surgery. Additionally, I work at the on-call clinic. I have a degree in physiotherapy, and I have obtained further training in, for example, treating problems of the masticatory system as well as related rehabilitation, emergency care, minor surgery, and prosthodontics.

In addition to my work, I am working on a doctoral dissertation at the University of Helsinki on 3D-modelling of midface fractures and their surgical treatment.
