Dental Specialist
I graduated as a dentist from the University of Oulu in 2016. Currently, I specialise in prosthodontics and occlusal physiology, with a secondary specialisation in periodontics (gum tissue diseases). I am due to complete my specialisation qualifications in spring 2025. My main focus is on prosthetic, occlusal physiological and periodontal treatments, but I also provide a wide range of other dental care services and treat a wide variety of oral health problems. I am also interested in aesthetic dental care. In my work, I strive for aesthetic, durable and functional treatment solutions.
In addition to my work, I am writing a doctoral thesis on bruxism, i.e. teeth grinding, at the University of Oulu, as well as being involved in basic dental education. I maintain my professional skills by regularly participating in training in my field, both in Finland and abroad.
In addition to working privately, I also work at the central hospital’s outpatient clinic for oral and maxillofacial surgery. In my work, I am also used to treating patients with particular needs and requirements and patients with dental fear. I enjoy interacting with all kinds of different people and take individual wishes into account in my work. During the treatment, I make sure my patients understand what I am doing and why. I work calmly but confidently. I am happy and positive by nature, and this is also reflected in my work.
