Laura Nykänen

I graduated as a dentist specialised in prosthodontics and occlusal physiology from the University of Helsinki. I provide all kinds of prosthetic treatments, and I am particularly interested in demanding occlusal rehabilitation in cooperation with other specialists. I am also happy to treat various pain conditions in the facial area, in cooperation with other medical specialists, if necessary.

My main job is at the HUS Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Diseases, where I treat demanding patients in specialised health care. I conduct scientific research on bruxism and its treatment methods.

In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors and cooking.
