At Oral Hammaslääkärit, we actively monitor the situation regarding the coronavirus and adhere to the authority regulations and instructions in place in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
To ensure the health and safety of our customers and our staff, please come to the clinic only if you are healthy.
- If you are experiencing any symptoms of a respiratory infection (cold, cough, sore throat, fever, etc.) or other contagious diseases or if you think you may have been exposed to the coronavirus, please refrain from visiting our practice until you are feeling well again.
- If you are over 70 or you belong to a risk group (people with an underlying health condition), please make sure to postpone your non-urgent appointment. If necessary, contact your dentist for an assessment of the need for treatment.
- If you have travelled abroad, please postpone your non-urgent appointment for 14 days from the date of returning to Finland.
- In cases mentioned above, if you require urgent dental care, request a call back from your dentist who will assess your situation and direct you to the correct place of treatment, if necessary.
You can postpone your appointment using the MyOral service or by calling our customer service number, tel. 010 400 3400.
If you suspect you or a person close to you may have contracted the coronavirus (COVID-19), adhere to the current authority instructions when seeking treatment. Contact the health care services primarily by phone before taking other measures. Instructions can be checked on the website of the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare.
If you have already been confirmed as having contracted a COVID-19 infection or if you have been suspected of having contracted the infection and you require urgent dental care, this will be organised in a centralised manner at a public health care unit. More information can be obtained by contacting your local oral health care unit or on-call service. Non-urgent treatment is postponed and will be provided after you have recovered.
