General dentist

I graduated as a dentist in 2000. Since then, I have worked for a long time in a health centre, taking care of the oral health of children, adults and the elderly. In addition, I have gained experience from dental care of various special groups. Patients with dental fear are also welcome to my practice.

My patients have thanked me especially for my gentle care and for listening to their wishes. My aim is to find suitable methods of dental care for all my patients. I also offer premedicated dental care, if needed.

I currently work in Kemi at the Dental and Oral Health Clinic as a specialising dentist and at the Oral Hammaslääkärit dental practice. My field of specialisation is gum diseases.

At the Oral Hammaslääkärit private dental practice, I want to offer my patients the opportunity to receive treatment of gum tissue diseases or inflammation related to implants. Another field of interest of mine is examining facial pain as well as diagnostics and treatment of diseases in the oral mucosa. As needed, I collect biopsies and remove small lumps. I also perform other minor oral surgical procedures, such as surgical tooth extractions.

I provide my patients with comprehensive care, taking into account systemic diseases and medications. Medical treatments used for systemic diseases have become more diverse, which means that the planning of dental care may require special expertise. I take into account the occlusion, the function of the temporomandibular joint and the function of the occlusal muscles. I make occlusal splints to treat occlusal problems. I provide prosthodontic care together with a skilled dental technician to replace missing teeth. I also provide dental implants in cooperation with an oral surgeon.

I am happy to provide aesthetic dental care. For example, if your teeth are discoloured, we can look for solutions that are suitable for you in different price ranges. Composite plastic alone gives you an aesthetically nice-looking smile. Weak front teeth can also be crowned in order to achieve a durable and beautiful solution.
